Umm… When I read the title I thought it would be something technical advancing. This is just a slide into some stools. It just looks unnecessary dangerous. I’d rather just slide down a bannister like Kevin McCallister.
I know i will put this in my house
Oh hell yes… but what’s that black crud?
black crud is age…where finish has been removed by…lol, butts! …and lots of them!
I saw this skid in Bern in a shop under the sidewalk
yeah, it’s the the lolipop in bern. and the black thing is from all the people’s shoes.
Thanks….I was thinking it was a different kind of skid mark.
finally! A reason to get up in the morning
Uh, why is it plugged in?
Been trying to figure that out for a while.
The Cord to the electricity pluge runs under the slide.
The light sculpture on the wall is plugged in, not the slide.
It’s the “Electric Slide,” duh…
Looks like I’m gonna have to look up a couple more things, but this is a good place to start.
The only thing that would make this even better would be if it was a water slide
Hey, first I want to say great blog. I don’t always agree with your blogposts but it’s always a nice read.
Nice, how many times have you hit CTRL-V on that one?

I know that place, its the entrance to a Lollipop shop in Switzerland
I’m thinking there is an outlet on the slide which something else is plugged into i.e. a light or something.
I’m pretty sure the slide isn’t ‘plugged in’… there’s an outlet there, probably the lamp above it is plugged in.
Also, great idea.
North Country Day School in NY had two or three of these. What do you think we did all day…?
slide action maximus. Wouldn’t mind one on my stairs.

If I remember correctly, the City Museum in St. Louis, Missouri has a very similar feature.
There is one of these in Pittsburgh’s Childrens Museum.
