This kid is made of win and fail at the same time. He exists in a superposition between win and fail. If only we could strap a magnet to him, we could harness him for solving the global energy crisis.
It’s probably not, actually. In parts of Indonesia (Java is in Indonesia) certain tribes/groups love to name their children after American icons. So you can end up meeting Cinderella, Ariel, Madonna and their cousin Perenglamantakewa if you hit the right village.
No, it’s his real name dude. Like Ondilicious said, his name says the same thing in Arabic.. well, sort of. It says “Batman bin Sufarman” in Arabic but it’s because there’s no letter for ‘P’ in Arabic. Suparman (which is his father’s *first* name, not “family name” as it is in the Western world) isn’t that uncommon in Indonesia; I’ve heard of at least a couple. Although I’ve never heard of a Batman before… should be a win for his parents for spotting it.
Actually, this is pretty much an ethnic Javanese name. Maybe about half of Singapore’s Malay population is Javanese. Suparman is a very common name among Javanese ; so is name ending in -man such as Suratman. However, the name Batman I’m not so sure of but maybe. It should also be noted that there is a city in Turkey which is called ‘ Batman ‘. So the name ‘Batman’ certainly could have other meanings in other languages.
there was actually a newspaper feature on this guy, along with other people’s weird names in Singapore. Apparently his father named him that on purpose. I can’t really recall correctly…
There was another man named Singapura or Superman or something like that, and was questioned once when trying to open a bank account.
Javanese these days dont necessarily come from Java…
their forefathers did come from Java n moved to neighbouring countries like singapore…
Not many pure Javanese here i singapore since everyone is kinda mixed now n categorized as Malay…
Ok not that anyone cares but I have the same b day as this guy, at first i thought cool till i realized it was the same year too LOL…some where on some other continent as i was being born some child was being named batman LOL his b day was also on mothersday LOL.
He then went on a seven-fight winning streak before losing his last two bouts, both under the Strikeforce banner. Much like Day, he will be looking to this bout to help propel him back into the limelight.
So is his wife Wonderwoman bint Supargirl?

The best thing about this is BIN means son of. Double win.
…except Batman isn’t the son of Superman. Fail.
What no Spider-Man?
This guy would kick so much ass…
Greatest. Name. Ever!
most epic. most epic indeed. btw whats “javanese”?
if someone’s javanese, they’re from java, an island in indonesia (remember the tsunami?)
So that’s what they look like under those hoods.
You are thinking Jabbanese and actually it is Huts…you fail
The hooded ones are called jawas. Therefore you both fail.
Let’s not forget, He-Man spelled “Hutts” wrong.
It rocks to be a Star Wars nerd.
no, it doesn’t.
yeah it does…
this look shooped

You’re right. Nobody cares.
Awesome totally gonna name my first kid that
Something to think about:
‘Bin’ means ‘is’ in german.
0_0
This explains so much!
right so ich bin ein berliner is “i is a berliner”?
No, bin means “am”. SheWhoMustNotBNamed is an idiot. Bin never has and never will mean “is”. Ist means “is”.
he’s cute!!!
He then went on a seven-fight winning streak before losing his last two bouts, both under the Strikeforce banner. Much like Day, he will be looking to this bout to help propel him back into the limelight.
bin is son of suparman
bin means “am” in german not “is”
Dude, that guy is two days younger than me!
REALLY?! NO WAY?!
We don’t care…
he’s indonesian… from singapore????
hahaha,,
heroes ridiculous from mud sidoarjo
You know whats funny? This kid probably doesn’t even know how much we “americans” admire him just for his name. I like superheros.:D
