In Case Of Zombies…

I want that for my wall.
what function do the goggles have?
to keep the brain matter out your eyes. duh.
the goggles are to make you look cool and give you awesome zombie hunting abilities, have you never seen a zombie movie?
To keep Blood/brain matter/other potentially contagious bodily fluids that may carry the zombie virus into your body through your eyes.
The GOGGLES! They do NOTHING!
It should not have taken so long for someone to say this!
Once again, folks, it should be: “My eyes! The goggles do nothing!” (Rainer Wolfcastle, referring to the river of contamination.)
Two words: B. A.
Bachelor of Arts in Zombie Killing?
I’d rather go for a BS in Zombie Killing. That way, I don’t have to take the laboratory course in ZOMB 101
Safety First, Duhh!
All that’s missing is a carton of cigarettes. No need for a lighter, though– you just know that there will be some kind of explosion for you to casually light one by.
Hmm… The birdshot is a fail. I want ammo that’s a bit more substantial.
Yes, needs to be slugs not shot.
I’d prefer buckshot, solid slugs are sort of overkill and it’d be great not having to worry too much about aiming
Yes, Buckshot FTW.
Cool but why is it behind glass?
its behind glass because you are only supposed to use it in case of zombies!
sheesh… “in case of” stuff is ALWAYS behind glass
I have that same airsoft gun, but I doubt it would do much more than mildly annoy a zombie.
It’s meant as a joke. Don’t take it so literal.
I have one of these for vampires. It contains a cross, a stake and a bottle of holy water.
What, no garlic?
It’s always nice to be prepared.
yeah, I have it too, but it’s a copy of a real gun model… and you never know by a picture of that quality, it might be a real one!
Unfortunately, one of these was not created to fight the rise of the vampires. And now humanity is doomed until the Twilight franchise has no more movies to make.
which is actually sooner than you think
unless they make even more….
OH GOD NO-O-O-O!
They need a box for “In case of continuation of Twilight Franchise, break glass”. I dunno what it would contain, though.
pure gold
The birdshot as ammo is a definite fail. I definitely do not want to mildly annoy a zombie. They tend to overreact and eat your flesh.
So… Nothing to do with “Doom” then?
This was probably inspired by an MIT hack.
Try some 3-1/2″ shells with something a little more substantial than bird shot. Stay away from slugs thouhg, with zombies though. While they do lots of damage, alot of the kinetic energy is lost. You want something to pulverize flesh and shatter bones. Remember, even a zombie needs a relativly intact skeletal structure to move properly. Pulverize a knee or leg and hes not going to be able to chase you.
Would want a real shotty for sure, but have to say forget the slugs to the commenters. Bird shot would be next to worthless, but slugs would be only slightly more usefull. Gimme 00 buckshot and an oval choke in case of zombies- hit multiple targets all at once and no real need to spend time careful aiming = WIN.
I agree with the bird shot=fail, 00 alt or 000 alt buck shot in a 3-1/2″ magnum. While at it, the clip looks ‘cool’ but I think you could store more shells in the regular magazine than that clip. If you are going to have a mock-up, use a bigger clip (can’t use a drum clip in a shallow display case) or a webbing on the stock holding shells. It’s the small details that make to go from ‘cool’ to ‘holy f’n crap!’
Nice one, there are actually some great ideas on here some of my friends will maybe find this worthwhile, I will send them a link, thank you.
Sooo… they say the best weapon for Zombies is one you do not have to reload… Hammer, Poles, 2×4’s, Cars if you have gas hopefully. Saw’s, Axe, Swords but then after a while they get dull.
But where are the “In Case of Vampires,” “In Case of Werewolves,” and “In Case of Demons” cases?
#7 birdshot is too small, you need 00 or 000 for zombies
Or just a few pipe/bile bombs! WIN!
LOL I actually have this airsoft gun…
And I have those goggles …
a shotgun is one of the worst weapons for a zombocalipse. you need soemthing substantial to pierce the skull and into the brain, a hunting rifle is more like it. yes, some slugs on that shotty may be enough, but you would be better off with a rifle, which you can carry more ammo per space compared to a slug, not to mention higher firing range.
Those who commented on goggles… those are eye protection goggles. Standard and required for any shooting range. The actual “use” of them is to supposedly keep shells from hitting your eye (when they eject), but this has only happened to me maybe 3-4 times in years of time at the shooting range. Also to whoever said shotgun sucks.. i agree completely, although not for the same reason. A shotgun shell will demolish any skull it comes in contact with; but shotguns are slow to reload and hold very few rounds. A carbine would be the ideal weapon ;P
