Must’ve been at PAX.
Couldn’t have been at PenguiCon. He was going to be a guest of honor at the first one, then he canceled the week before the convention. Likewise, for the second one. Third one, he was just going to attend.
As curses go, it worked out well for Wil. He couldn’t attend, because he kept getting movie offers right before the conventions.
Wil, just tell industry people that Penguicon is in July. You’ll still get the jobs, but you can attend Penguicon in May with the rest of us.

Scott Meyer, creator of the webcomic Basic Instructions makes (or at least used to make) these shirts for anyone who wants one. They’re pretty much the shit. After a quick check, it doesn’t look like he’s making them anymore, but if he brings them back I’ll be getting one. I’m kicking myself for not getting one when they were available.

I love Wheaton. Mostly because he went from a despised child actor on a beloved nerd-tastic franchise and somehow turned himself into the KING of the GEEKS! So yeah, he’s aces.
Yeah, Wesley Crusher was dumb and annoying, but the happy surprise was that Wil rocks!
I think that was the idea behind his character. He is a very nice person – I met him at some convention or another (Yeah that’s specific – thanks…) a few eons ago. He didn’t like his character either. I was surprised at that.
This is like that episode of ST:TNG where they were playing poker over and over and over again…
