I disagree. Missing some makes it look hard. I spent a summer ushering for the Incredible Acrobats of China at the state fair. The finale is a guy balancing a bunch of dishes on a bunch of chairs on a bunch of tables (on his chin, I think!) – capped by flipping a spoon 20-25 feet up into the top cup with his foot. He ALWAYS missed the first time (on purpose.) And, the audience appreciated it that much more when he got it in.

Given enough time and the right kind of card stock, I might be able to pull off one or two of these tricks. Maybe. But the breadth of the tricks was pretty incredible.
Card throwing used to be considered part of the magician’s repertoire. It has all but died, kept alive by a handful of individuals. David Blaine has a card throwing clip on YouTube, and he misses (but gets close) several times. His accuracy, even in the misses, was pretty amazing.

Probably because the card is small in size that it’s not going to make a big slice, and the slice will be similar to taking an exacto knife to it. So the only real way to see it would be a super close up on the paper with a some sort of contrasting dark color behind the paper.
going thorugh and its not really hard. i do this myself. look up rick smith jr on youtube he is able to 6 or 7 news papers

I thought it was kind of lame at first, but then around the time he knocked the shot glass off the stack, it started to pick up. Still a mostly useless skill, but very cool for parties.
